In the meantime I am trying to get my teeth fixed in time. I need a new post and two crowns. I told my dentist that I was on a donor list, that a donor has unexpectedly been found and that I need to finish my teeth ...now! Her responce was that she is taking a ton of time off in July and it might be difficult. Oh. OK then. Arse!!!! If she doesn't do it I am screwed. No other dentist will take a half completed root canal on. I shall hassle them till they give in. I think I have time, in all reality. What is the fastest we gals can be synchronized? Anyone done DE at Cornell? Anyone got any advice?
Best case scenario, I have heard nothing faster than 6 weeks from donor acceptance to transfer - and that was FAST. So DO pester your dentist and get this out of the way so you don't have to hassle with it when you're pregnant, which is NOT optimal.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sky. Pester your dentist. Make the earliest available appointment NOW and then just keep reminding her that you simply cannot walk around for 9 months with missing teeth.
ReplyDeleteSorry...I got a bit confused between IVF40plus and this blog site. You're not going private yet, right? You're just shutting down your previous site that was a google reader mess? There was a notification from your previous site and I think it's causing a scare!
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I were lined up within 6 weeks. I thought that was fast. And yes, hassel the dentist!!!

Any word yet? I had a dream last night that I was on a DE waiting list and they called and said I had a match. Funny that I am so intertwined with your progress.
