Poopapaloozi

Since i did the night shift last night DH got up at 7am so i could grab a few hours. When i got up it looked like the house had been hit by a hurricane!! ! I was only asleep for 3 hours. Boxes of food on the floor, baby bottles everywhere, kids undressed and best of all a giant puddle of poo in the kids room!!!!.

  2. Well, you know what my mom would say ... if they did the job ~really well~ you might ask them to do it more often!! ;-)

  3. Maybe you remember me.... ttcnslc. Well, fast forward a bit. We did donor embryo (egg and sperm) last month, and on Friday, BFP! When we got our "numbers", I thought of you. 1178 12dp5dt. What were your numbers if you recall? Of course they couldn't confirm if it's more than one, but they suspect two. We go for a "viability scan" in 2 weeks to see how the little dude(s) are. I'm still hoping for 2!

  4. Ha ha ha! Sorry, I have to laugh, because my DH is the same way. He can keep the baby alive, but the house will be a disaster! Laundry everywhere, poopy clothes piled for mommy to clean, bottles all over the coffee table and kitchen counter, crib bedding rumpled, toys everywhere...and this guy might end up caring for the baby a WHOLE DAY each week when I go back to work!

On the other hand, there was a twinge of secret delight when the difficulty of child care suddenly dawned on my DH. His overwhelmed, wide-eyed, oh-so-glad-to-see-me look gave me a bit of satisfaction.

But kudos to your DH for trying!!

  5. LOL - this goes on nightly in my house. DH pulls the night shift and in the morning there are bottles everywhere, burp cloths strewn across all furniture and the kitchen is a mess. But that's okay - I get to sleep! xxoo
