I am living with 4ft high drug addicts - binky is the drug and momma is the only thing between it and them
and kids don't like to poop on the potty. they do like to poop in the hallway (hello new rug) and in the bathroom, just on the floor, next to the loo, NEXT TO THE LOO!!!
last night i got about 4 hours sleep whilst blocking the little binky addict.
Today i went to a toy shop and bought bribes galore. Yes I caved. Dor.a crap, a pink princess thing, even a big fluffy dog so that she might get some comfort. I caved big time.
So, tired, smelly and longing for respite, I bid you all a happy weekend!

I feel your pain. You are not alone! I had begun to think that something is wrong with my 3 1/2 year-old son. OMG! Why do they poop on the floor?!!!! He has been doing this forever with the potty a foot away. We have been potty training since last summer. I am at the breaking point. I get so enraged with this never ending torture, but I have to hold it all in and calmly explain why it is wrong OVER and OVER so as to not give him psychological problems. None of my friends' kids did this. His twin sister was a binky addict. I think you might need to try damaging the binky like cutting it if the nipple is secure or just puncturing it. That way, she will not get any satisfaction out of it and will give it up on her own. I cut a little off of the hospital issue 1 piece binky over 4 days. She tried so hard to suck on it even when the nipple was just a tiny nub. I finally had to take it away, but she already had a 4 day withdrawal period. Try it. Good luck!!! Kathy
