But it is true, people WANT to buy you things. And it is nice to have a guide to go by. And belive me, you will probably get many gifts that are not on your registry just because someone thought that it was cute and they JUST HAD to buy it for you all! :DBrendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11096628572640730109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5223280819287055879.post-61408000664580064502010-05-10T18:04:56.644-04:002010-05-10T18:04:56.644-04:00I think it's the best thing for you to do. Pe...I think it's the best thing for you to do. People want to buy gifts for new parents (just like with newlyweds) and they appreciate the guidance. I think word-of-mouth is the best way to get the word out there. Maybe a parent or a good friend can share your registry with others. If you were having a baby shower, I'd say put it on the invite, but I understand they're all overseas, so word of mouth it is! Good luck!Kara's Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07318794767415969151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5223280819287055879.post-20376825821264221972010-05-10T17:58:53.324-04:002010-05-10T17:58:53.324-04:00I'm Italian-American and registering and havin...I'm Italian-American and registering and having baby showers are a must because how else would all the ladies from the old country satisfy their lust for outspending and outdoing each other? But, seriously, I have been reading since last summer and can see that you are a very kind, generous person. On several occasions you have been so thoughtful with gifts/kind acts for others going through good and bad times. Don't feel funny about it. It's your turn to enjoy and I'm sure all the "uncles and aunties" can't wait to do something nice for you guys.<br />KathyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
